Description
A vintage tan canvas mining cap featuring a mounted brass carbide lamp with a parabolic reflector. Embossed lettering is present on the upper surface of the lamp tank but is not legible (photo 2).
Condition report:
The canvas cap exhibits heavy soiling and wear consistent with industrial use (photo 1). The brass lamp displays a natural aged patina with surface oxidation and tarnishing on the reflector (photo 2). Natural twine is wrapped around the lamp assembly (photo 3).
