Description
Rick Terry bronze-toned sculpture titled “The Patriot,” produced for the Friends of NRA. A rectangular brass-toned plaque is mounted to the front reading “THE PATRIOT” / FRIENDS OF NRA / 2002 Sponsor / # 9644, and a rectangular gold-foil adhesive label on the underside identifies the work as by Rick Terry and part of a five-year series for the National Rifle Association.
Condition report:
A chip is present on the front upper-left corner of the wooden base (photo 2). The front identification plaque shows oxidation and tarnishing around the edges and pins (photo 2), and light surface dust is visible in the sculptural recesses (photo 1).
