A mid-century decorative basket featuring twisted wirework construction and cold-painted metal floral accents. The set includes seven polished stone eggs of various colors and mineral compositions; no maker’s marks or labels are visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
The metal wire displays an aged patina with tarnish throughout, while the cold-painted flowers exhibit minor paint loss and chipping on the petals (Photo 1, 2). The stone eggs appear in good condition with high-gloss finishes and natural mineral veining (Photo 3, 4, 5, 6).
