Description
A group of hand-carved Italian alabaster eggs featuring naturalistic veining in shades of ocher, tan, and mottled pink. One egg bears a red and gold foil label reading “MORLEANS HAND MADE IN ITALY” beneath a crown device; a second egg bears a partial red and gold foil label reading “ITALY”.
Condition report:
The stone surfaces exhibit minor superficial scuffing consistent with age and handling. The original adhesive labels show wear, creasing, and partial loss.
