Description
Mattel Barbie as Glinda from The Wizard of Oz collection, manufactured in 1999. This vinyl fashion doll features a jointed body with rooted auburn synthetic hair styled in waves and stationary painted blue eyes. The doll is dressed in her original full-length pink satin and tulle gown, embellished with silver star sequins and iridescent butterfly accents on the bodice. Accessories include a signature tall, translucent pink crown with a large faux-gemstone and a star-tipped magic wand. This version of the doll is equipped with a talking feature activated by raising the doll’s arm and a wand designed to emit a sound effect. The electronic components require three replaceable AG13 or LR44 alkaline button cell batteries. The item is housed in its original manufacturer’s window box packaging, which features promotional imagery and instructional text on the reverse.

Condition report:
The doll is in its original manufacturer\'s packaging and appears never to have been removed (NRFB). The box shows moderate shelf wear, including scuffing and creasing along the cardboard edges and corners. There is a visible area of adhesive sticker residue and a partial tear on the upper right portion of the clear plastic display window. Due to the age of the item, original internal batteries may be expired and electronic functionality is not guaranteed.
