Description
A cast iron grill pan from the Wagner’s 1891 Original commemorative series, marketed as a fat free fryer. The pan features a round body with raised parallel ridges on the interior cooking surface for grilling. It is designed with a long, tapered handle containing a hanging hole and a single pour spout integrated into the rim. The flat base carries extensive cast-in information. A logo on the underside includes the text WAGNER’S 1891 ORIGINAL, followed by a rectangular frame with the words CAST IRON COOKWARE. The base also displays SEASONING INSTRUCTIONS with five numbered steps, the size designation 11 3/8 INCH FAT FREE FRYER, and the origin MADE IN U.S.A. A single character C is also present. This line was produced in the late 20th century to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Wagner Manufacturing Company.
Condition report:
The item is in used condition. There is visible surface oxidation and rust across the base and exterior sides. The interior cooking surface shows typical signs of previous use and requires cleaning and re-seasoning.
