Description
Taxidermy shoulder mount of a North American Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus). The specimen is presented in a forward-facing pose with a slight turn to its left. The antlers exhibit the bifurcated branching pattern characteristic of the species. The mount is attached to a shield-shaped, dark-finished wooden display plaque. No taxidermist labels or maker marks are visible on the mount or the front of the plaque.
Condition report:
The mount is in good overall condition. There is minor thinning and wear to the fur, specifically visible on the ears and facial area. The antlers, nose, and hide appear well-preserved without significant damage or loss.
