Description
This item is a taxidermy shoulder mount of a caribou (Rangifer tarandus). The specimen is a traditional head and neck mount, posed with the head turned slightly toward the right. It features a large and complex set of multi-tined antlers characterized by significant palmation at the tips and a prominent, shovel-like brow tine extending over the forehead. The coat is a light cream-to-beige color with a distinctive dark brown patch on the bridge of the muzzle. The mount includes realistic glass eyes and well-preserved ears.
