Description
This limited edition wildlife print, titled Winter’s Calling, is by artist Allen Hughes, M.D. The artwork depicts Canada geese in flight and on the ground within a snowy landscape featuring harvested corn stalks and a wooded background. The piece is pencil-signed by the artist in the lower-left margin and hand-numbered 47/500. The title is printed in the lower center margin. Affixed to the reverse is a Certification of Limited Edition and a print registration card from Swan Graphics, Ltd., bearing a copyright date of 1980. The print is presented in a dark-stained wood frame with double matting under glass.
Condition report:
The print and matting appear to be in good overall condition. The frame exhibits minor surface scuffs and wear. The dust cover paper on the reverse is torn and partially missing in several locations.
