Description
A collection of blue and white glazed ceramic salt and pepper shakers with matching underplates. The group includes frog figurines in varied poses, including one seated and one reclining, decorated with stylized hand-painted blue floral patterns. These shakers rest on a leaf-shaped base. Also included are snail figurines featuring blue concentric spiral shells and dotted bodies, which rest on an oval underplate. Each figurine is designed as a functional shaker with discharge holes at the top. The hand-painted underglaze decoration on a white ground is in a style characteristic of Gzhel or Delftware. No maker marks are visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or evidence of repair were observed upon visual inspection. The glaze surface remains bright and intact.
