Description
This miniature two-piece covered dish is fashioned from opaque white milk glass in the form of a hen on a nest. The design is attributed to Portieux Vallerysthal, featuring a top lid molded as a seated hen with stylized plumage and a base with a molded basketweave pattern and a scalloped upper rim. The item is consistent in size and form with an individual salt cellar. It is constructed from press-molded opaque glass.

Condition report:
