Description
A vintage wooden wall-hanging spice cabinet or apothecary chest featuring a seven-drawer configuration. The central storage area consists of six small upper drawers arranged in two columns of three, positioned above a single full-width bottom drawer. Each drawer is fitted with a white ceramic or porcelain pull knob. The central drawer bank is flanked on either side by three-tier open shelves. The entire unit is set against a decorative scrolled backboard. The piece is constructed from dark-stained wood with visible grain patterns throughout. No maker’s marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior or accessible surfaces of the cabinet.
Condition report:
The cabinet is in good vintage condition. Surface wear is present, including minor abrasions, shallow scratches, and small indentations consistent with age and prior use. There are slight variations in the finish across the wooden surfaces. The ceramic knobs are secure and show no visible cracks or chips. The structural integrity appears sound with no evidence of major repairs or restoration.
