Description
A two-piece pressed glass covered novelty dish in honey amber, featuring the Hen on Nest motif, attributed to the Indiana Glass Company. The lid is molded in the form of a nesting chicken with detailed feathering, a prominent comb, and a wattle. Tonal variations in the glass are visible in the head and neck. The base features a textured basketweave exterior and is finished with a decorative beaded rim. A faint, illegible mark is located on the center of the smooth oval underside of the base.

Condition report:
The item is in excellent vintage condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or significant surface wear. The beaded rim appears fully intact with no damage to the individual beads.
