Description
This two-piece novelty dish is crafted in the form of a nesting hen. The set consists of a lid and a base, both made from pressed glass with a uniform satin finish. The glass is a vibrant, deep fuchsia or cranberry pink color. The lid is molded into the shape of a hen with detailed feather textures on the body, wings, and upright tail feathers. The base features a matching satin finish and is decorated with a continuous beaded rim along the upper edge. No maker marks or signatures are visible on either piece.
Condition report:
The item is in excellent vintage condition. There are no observed chips, cracks, or surface abrasions on either the lid or the base. The frosted finish remains consistent and free of significant wear.
