Description
The glass is a deep burgundy or plum red color, displaying translucent amethyst or ruby tones in thinner areas when viewed against the light. The lid is molded into the form of a nesting hen with detailed feathering across the body and tail, and a defined comb and wattle.
Condition report:
The item is in excellent vintage condition with no observed chips, cracks, or fractures. The satin finish is uniform and well-preserved, showing no significant surface wear, scuffing, or discoloration. The lid and base meet evenly.
