Description
A collection of clear glass drinking tumblers featuring printed character illustrations from the Hanna-Barbera animated series The Flintstones. These items are widely attributed to Welch’s jelly as promotional packaging from the mid-1960s. Each tumbler is decorated with a single-color graphic in various shades, including red, blue, green, yellow, and teal. The scenes depict characters such as Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Dino, Pebbles, and Bamm-Bamm in various activities. Titles are printed in block letters around the upper rims, including THE FLINTSTONES BIRTHDAY PARTY, FRED AND BARNEY PLAY BASEBALL, FRED BUILDS A DOG-HOUSE, PEBBLES AND BAMM-BAMM THE SITTERS, and THE BEACH. Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition. The clear glass bodies exhibit light surface wear and minor scratching consistent with age and use. The printed graphics remain largely intact with good color density, though occasional minor loss or light fading to the transfer designs is present on some pieces. No chips, cracks, or significant structural defects are observed.
