Description
This collection consists of ten vintage glazed ceramic salt and pepper shakers featuring various garden and floral motifs. The assortment includes a pair of anthropomorphic sunflowers with expressive faces set upon green leaf bases, a pair of terracotta-colored jugs with yellow textured caps, and a pair of light green vertically ribbed watering cans featuring pink circular medallions marked with the letters P and S. The collection also includes two matching sets of yellow and white polka-dot gardenware, with each set containing a watering can marked SALT and a flower pot marked PEPPER. The pieces are decorated using a combination of hand-painting, underglaze, and embossed lettering. No manufacturer marks or backstamps are visible on the bases of the items.
Condition report:
