Description
A hand-blown cased glass basket featuring a deep pink interior and an opaque white exterior. The bowl is shaped with a broad, hand-crimped ruffled rim finished with a clear glass crest. A clear glass handle with a ribbed texture is hand-applied to the sides of the vessel. The basket sits on a polished circular foot. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the base or body of the item.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. A small reddish inclusion is visible within the pink glass at the bottom of the interior bowl (photo 2). The underside of the foot shows minor shelf wear and several small dark marks consistent with age and use (photo 5). No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible on the delicate ruffled edges or at the handle attachment points.
