Description
An earthenware jardiniere produced by Hull Art Pottery in the Bowknot pattern featuring relief-molded floral decoration and ribbon handles. The base features impressed marks including U.S.A., a script mark reading Hull Art, and the form number B-18-5 3/4, which is partially obscured by a post-production drilled drainage hole.
Condition report:
A vertical hairline crack is present at the rim (photo 2). The exterior exhibits all-over glaze crazing (photo 1). A circular drainage hole has been drilled through the center of the base (photo 4).
