Description
A pair of American earthenware candle holders in the Zephyr Lily pattern, produced by Roseville Pottery circa 1946. The undersides feature the raised relief script mark Roseville U.S.A. 1162-2 inch accompanied by handwritten notations in green ink.
Condition report:
The pair exhibits fine crazing to the glaze on the undersides (photo 4). One candle holder has a small glaze flake on the upper curve of a handle (photo 1). Three kiln stilt marks are visible on the base of each item (photo 4).
