Description
Victorian lidded honey pot crafted from purple and white marbled slag glass in the form of a straw beehive skep. The exterior features textured ribbing and molded high-relief bumblebee figures resting on a footed hexagonal base.
Condition report:
The piece is in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks to the lid rim (photo 2), pot rim (photo 3), or base corners (photo 4). Small dark specks visible on the lid surface (photo 1) are internal carbon inclusions typical of the production process.
