Description
Lidded tobacco jar produced by the Fenton Art Glass Company in purple slag glass featuring a relief paneled grape design. The underside of the base bears a molded oval mark with the name Fenton in script above the numeral 8, indicating manufacture in the 1980s.
Condition report:
The lidded jar and matching lid are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restorations (photos 1, 2, 3, 5, 6). Minor shelf wear is visible on the underside of the polished base (photo 4).
