Description
Large cast concrete or cast stone garden statue depicting a recumbent lion with a textured mane. The piece features several layers of peeling white and terracotta-toned paint, creating an aged patina.
24 x 10 x 12 inches.
Condition report:
The statue exhibits extensive weathering consistent with outdoor use, including multiple layers of peeling and flaking paint across all surfaces (photo 1, photo 3). There are scattered minor chips and abrasions to the concrete, particularly along the base and the tips of the ears (photo 2, photo 6). No structural cracks or major losses are visible.
