Description

This collection consists of three miniature porcelain oil lamps, likely produced in the mid-20th century as decorative collectibles. The group includes one teapot-form lamp and two footed lamps with matching shades. The teapot-form lamp features a white glazed porcelain base with a single handle and a decorative spout, adorned with a yellow rose transfer-print. It is topped with a brass-toned metal burner and a clear glass chimney with a ruffled rim. The two footed lamps feature bulbous porcelain bases supported by three small feet and flanked by twin scroll handles. Both footed lamps include matching conical porcelain shades. One footed lamp displays a sparse floral pattern with pink and blue blossoms, while the other features a denser multi-colored floral pattern with pink roses and yellow wildflowers. Gilt accents are visible on the rims of the shades and the handles of the more densely decorated lamp. All three lamps are fitted with adjustable metal burners and cotton wicks. No manufacturer marks are visible on the exterior surfaces of the items.

Condition report:

The collection is in good vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or visible repairs to the porcelain components or the glass chimney. The metal burners show a natural aged patina and some surface oxidation. Minor brownish residue is present on the porcelain base of the center lamp near the metal collar, consistent with past use or age. There is slight rubbing and wear to the gilt highlights on the handles and rims of the third lamp.
