Description
A miniature two-piece covered dish crafted from opaque white milk glass, featuring the classic Hen on Nest design. The lid is molded as a nesting hen with textured feathering, while the oval base displays a basketweave pattern finished with a scalloped rim.
Condition report:
A diagonal crack is present on the lid of the dish, running across the back of the hen. The piece also exhibits typical mold lines and minor surface irregularities inherent to the pressed glass manufacturing process.
