Description
This taxidermy specimen consists of a moose (Alces alces) skull prepared in a European-style mount. The skull has been professionally cleaned and bleached to a white finish. It features a full set of naturally attached, palmated antlers characterized by broad, flattened palms and multiple protruding tines. The antlers retain their natural variegated brown and tan coloration. The specimen is mounted onto a dark-finished, shield-shaped wooden plaque with a beveled edge, configured for wall display. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are present on the skull or the mounting plaque.
Condition report:
The specimen is in good overall condition. The bone and antler structures are solid with no visible cracks or major damage. The wooden plaque shows minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with handling and display. Natural variations in texture and color are present across the skull and antlers.
