Description
This taxidermy shoulder mount features a mature white-tailed deer buck (Odocoileus virginianus). The specimen is presented in a standard shoulder pose with the head turned toward the viewer’s right. The antlers consist of a ten-point rack with five points on each side. The mount is constructed on a foam form and includes realistic glass eyes with detailed finishing on the nose and mouth. The back of the mount consists of a circular plywood board fitted with a black plastic mounting bracket. This bracket features embossed lettering that reads NEW WORLD TAXIDERMY SUPPLY GARLAND, TEXAS.
Condition report:
The specimen is in good overall condition. The fur is well-preserved with no significant balding or pest damage observed. The antlers are securely attached and show natural coloration. The plywood backboard displays several redundant drill holes and black ink markings from the assembly process, which are not visible when the mount is displayed against a wall.
