Description
This is a country style upholstered rocking chair featuring a heavy oak frame with a honey-toned finish. The chair is upholstered in a tapestry-style woven fabric decorated with a repeating mallard duck motif set against a dark forest green textured ground. The construction includes prominent scroll-end arms and vertical slats located beneath the upholstered backrest. Joinery is reinforced with visible wood-capped plugs on the side rails. No manufacturer markings or labels are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The chair is in good overall condition. Visible scuffs and areas of finish loss are present on the front lower corners of the oak frame rails. The upholstery shows minor wear consistent with household use.
