Description
This is a factory replacement blued steel barrel for a Winchester Model 1300 Ranger pump action shotgun, chambered in 20 gauge for 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. It is specifically designated for slug use, featuring a smooth bore and a dedicated iron sight system consisting of a ramped front blade sight and a flip-up, adjustable rear leaf sight. The barrel includes an integral attachment lug for securing to the magazine tube and receiver. Markings on the left side of the barrel include WINCHESTER MODEL 1300 RANGER 20 GA. 2 3/4 & 3, -MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-, and DEER SLUG. A circular WP proof mark is visible on the top of the barrel near the breech end. This component is designed for hunters utilizing slugs for deer hunting or similar applications requiring rifle-style sights on a shotgun platform.
Condition report:
The barrel\'s blued finish is in good condition, retaining a high percentage of its original color. There are minor surface scuffs, light scratches, and scattered residue present on the exterior, primarily around the attachment lug and breech area. The front and rear sights are intact and appear to function correctly. No significant corrosion or pitting is visible on the exterior surfaces. The internal bore condition was not inspected and is therefore not guaranteed.
