Description
This is a replacement shotgun barrel manufactured by the Ithaca Gun Company for the Model 37 Featherlight. It is chambered for 12-gauge 2 3/4-inch shells and constructed of Roto Forged blued steel. The barrel is equipped with a threaded breech, a mounting lug, and a red fiber-optic style front bead sight. Stamped markings on the barrel read: MODEL 37 – FEATHERLIGHT – 12 GA – 2 3/4 CHAMBER – PROOF TESTED and ITHACA GUN CO., INC., ITHACA, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. – ROTO FORGED followed by an anvil icon. A MOD stamp is visible near the breech end, indicating a modified choke.
Condition report:
The barrel shows signs of previous use, including scattered surface scratches and wear to the blued finish throughout. The mounting lug and threaded breech remain intact and functional.
