Description
This collection features a variety of elephant figurines and miniatures crafted from diverse materials including carved stone, molded resin, plastic, glazed ceramic, porcelain, and glass. The group includes several stone carvings in colors and patterns suggesting malachite, quartz, and soapstone. Molded plastic and resin pieces include realistic animal studies alongside more stylized forms, some of which resemble vintage souvenir wax figures. Ceramic and porcelain examples range from naturalistic gray-toned figures to a whimsical white porcelain elephant decorated with a painted party hat. A notable piece is a vertical tower of elephants carved from a wood-like composite material.
