Description
This lot features eleven vintage miniature animal figurines, primarily depicting elephants in various materials and styles. Included are five molded plastic or resin pieces: three clear figurines with red accents on the ears, trunks, and feet; one translucent yellow elephant; and one small opaque purple elephant with pink ears. Five ceramic and porcelain figurines are also present, including a sitting elephant with a mottled blue and white glaze, a standing anthropomorphic white elephant wearing a brown hat and boots, a peach-colored elephant with a blue patchwork saddle blanket, a small pink elephant, and a pig bust wearing a red bandana with the text PIG OUT. The group is completed by a small pinkish-tan wax candle molded into the shape of a sitting elephant with a visible wick. No manufacturer marks are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The items are in overall good vintage condition. Visible surface wear and small areas of paint loss are present, consistent with age and use. Paint loss is most evident on the red accents of the clear resin pieces and the yellow lettering on the pig bandana. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are noted.
