Description
A lot consisting of two molded coin banks designed in the form of stylized elephants. The first bank depicts an upright elephant finished in a matte grayish-green tone, featuring a yellow flower on its forehead and white-painted toe details at the base. The coin slot is positioned at the top of the head. The second bank features a reclining elephant in a teal-blue finish with pink-painted inner ears and blue eyes. This figure includes a yellow balloon detail on its back near the coin slot. Both items are constructed from a molded material, such as ceramic or a heavy composite resin. Faint incised markings, including a copyright symbol, are present on the rear of the reclining elephant but are not clearly legible.
Condition report:
Both banks are in good condition consistent with age and use. Visible wear includes minor surface scuffing, scattered points of paint loss, and general shelf wear to the undersides. No significant chips, cracks, or structural damage are observed in the provided images.
