Description
A full-size wooden commemorative baseball bat produced to celebrate the 1997 Cleveland Indians and their participation in the 1997 World Series. The bat is constructed from natural-finish wood and features laser-engraved graphics on the barrel, including the Indians script team logo and the official logo for the 1997 World Series. The barrel surface is covered with engraved facsimile signatures representing the team roster as of October 8, 1997. Notable players included in the facsimile signatures are Orel Hershiser, Omar Vizquel, Sandy Alomar, Manny Ramirez, Matt Williams, Charles Nagy, and Marquis Grissom. A decorative engraved cartouche located on the upper barrel identifies this as a limited edition item, numbered 2023 of 5000, and includes the authentication code BINDWS9710. This is a commemorative display piece and does not feature hand-signed autographs.
Condition report:
The bat is in excellent display condition. The wood finish is clean and the laser engraving remains sharp and legible. There are no visible cracks, chips, or significant surface abrasions.
