Description
This lot consists of three framed Sports Illustrated magazine covers featuring Pittsburgh Steelers players. The first display includes the January 6, 1975 issue with Franco Harris, titled Franco Harris Overpowers Oakland, and is paired with an inset Super Bowl IX commemorative trading card at the lower right. The second display features the January 16, 2006 issue headlined Oh, Yeah! Jerome Bettis and the Steelers Drive into Indianapolis, accompanied by an inset 2005 Playoff Honors Jerome Bettis trading card. The third display features the September 4, 2006 NFL Preview issue with Joey Porter on the cover. Two items are presented in gold-tone frames, and one is in a black frame. The covers show technical details such as newsstand pricing and original cover photography.
Condition report:
Generally good condition. The frames show minor scuffing and edge wear. Magazine covers exhibit standard age-related wear including minor creasing and typical surface wear. Trading cards appear well-preserved under glass.
