Description
An assortment of vintage novelty and souvenir salt and pepper shaker sets in various materials including ceramic, plastic, and acrylic. The collection features a pair of ceramic Amish figures, with the male figure in a red shirt and black overalls and the female in a blue dress with a black apron and bonnet. Notable sets include a pair of black potbelly stoves, a gold-toned plastic upright piano with salt and pepper compartments on the upper lid, and a ceramic covered wagon. The group also contains a set consisting of a yellow straw hat and a black bowler hat, and a pair of blue ceramic barrel-shaped shakers marked with a black S and P. Further items include blue cylindrical shakers with transfer scenes titled THE OLD HOMESTEAD, white canister-style shakers labeled GRACE BEFORE MEALS, and log-shaped shakers inscribed with a verse from Psalm 139. A tiered clear and pink acrylic set and a pair of red pot-style shakers, one marked PEPPER, are also included. Condition report:
The collection is in overall good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. No major chips or cracks are visible.
