5.28.26 MAY ANTIQUE & GLASS AUCTION
Lot 56:
Description
This collection consists of several white enamelware items featuring a characteristic black-trimmed rim. The assortment includes a large rectangular basin, multiple flat trays of varying dimensions, and several nested rectangular containers with a matching lid. Each piece is constructed of metal coated in a white vitreous enamel finish. The design is utilitarian, typical of mid-20th-century household or medical equipment. While faint markings are present on the underside of one tray, they are not clearly legible and no definitive manufacturer attribution can be made.
Condition report:
The items exhibit signs of heavy use and age. Notable condition issues include surface staining, discoloration, and numerous chips to the enamel finish, particularly along the rims. Oxidation and rust are present in areas of enamel loss.
