5.28.26 MAY ANTIQUE & GLASS AUCTION
Lot 50:
Description
A vintage electric table lamp featuring a two-part milk glass body in a hobnail pattern, attributed to the Fenton Glass Company. The lamp is constructed with a large upper globe shade featuring a ruffled and crimped top rim and a matching smaller lower font. The glass sections are separated by an ornate cast metal midsection and supported by a tiered decorative pedestal base. Both metal components exhibit an antiqued brass or bronze-tone finish decorated with rococo-style foliate and scroll motifs. The lamp includes a turn-knob switch located on the central metal gallery and an integrated electrical cord. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the exterior of the item.
Condition report:
The lamp is in good vintage condition. The hobnail milk glass components appear intact with no visible chips, cracks, or significant abrasions. The cast metal base and fittings show a developed patina and minor surface wear consistent with age. The electrical cord and socket are present; however, the internal wiring has not been tested for safety or functionality.
