Description
A vintage industrial porcelain glove mold manufactured by the General Porcelain Manufacturing Company of Trenton, New Jersey. The piece is modeled as a realistic right human hand and forearm in an upright position, terminating in a flared, flat base. It is constructed from heavy, white-glazed porcelain. Stamped in blue ink around the base are several markings: AUG 27 1984, 10, 22″, C, and 15. The manufacturer mark is present, reading GENERAL PORCELAIN above TRENTON, N.J. This object was designed for the industrial manufacture of rubber or latex gloves.

Condition report:
The piece is in good overall condition. There are scattered small brown spots and minor surface pitting throughout the glaze, which are characteristic of industrial ceramic forms of this type and age. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible in the provided images.
