Description
This is a vintage two-piece pressed glass candle lamp, commonly referred to as a fairy lamp, produced by the Indiana Glass Company. The set features the Diamond Point pattern, characterized by a dense, faceted geometric texture across the exterior surfaces of both pieces. It is constructed from transparent amber glass with a color range spanning from honey-yellow to deep orange-brown. The object consists of a dome-shaped shade with a circular aperture at the top and a separate base with a ruffled, scalloped rim designed to hold a small candle or tea light. An embossed manufacturer mark consisting of a vertical bar within a diamond-shaped border is present on the interior center of the base.
Condition report:
The item appears to be in good vintage condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or significant abrasions on the shade or the base. Minor surface wear and manufacturing mold marks are present, which is consistent with the production of pressed glass from this era.
