Description
A collection of white milk glass vases featuring the hobnail pattern, attributed to the Fenton Art Glass Company. The group includes several pieces of varying heights and rim treatments. Among the selection are two swung vases, identifiable by their elongated forms and irregular, hand-stretched rims. These vases feature bulbous bodies with a dense hobnail texture that transitions into a smooth neck. The collection also includes smaller bud vases with tapered bodies and hobnail accents near the base. Each piece is supported by a circular pedestal foot. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on any of the items.
Condition report:
The collection is in mixed condition. One of the smaller bud vases shows significant dark surface staining and residue along the neck and rim. The other pieces exhibit minor surface wear and shelf wear on the bases consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or structural repairs were observed.
