Description
This is a lidded canister or tobacco jar made of iridescent blue carnival glass in the Harvest Grape pattern, attributed to the Indiana Glass Company. The piece is crafted from pressed cobalt blue glass with a vibrant electric blue iridescent coating that displays a spectrum of purple and green highlights. The exterior features embossed designs of hanging grape clusters around the top and a large stylized leaf at the base. The matching domed lid follows the decorative theme and is finished with a molded grape cluster finial. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the exterior of the jar or the lid.
Condition report:
The item is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or visible repairs. The iridescence remains bright and uniform with no noticeable signs of wear or loss to the finish.
