Description
This articulated semi-truck and trailer toy was manufactured by the All Metal Products Co. under the Wyandotte Toys brand. The toy is constructed from pressed steel and features a tractor with a red finish and a stake-bed style trailer with a green finish. A multi-colored decal on the side of the trailer identifies the unit as part of the Wyandotte Truck Lines. The decal includes the characters WYANDOTTE in yellow capital letters above a double-headed red arrow and the words TRUCK LINES in dark green. The manufacturer information, Mfg. by ALL METAL PRODUCTS CO., WYANDOTTE, MICH., U.S.A., is printed at the base of the decal. The vehicle is equipped with six black rubber wheels and a manual articulation mechanism connecting the cab to the trailer.
Condition report:
The toy is in good vintage condition with vibrant original paint and a glossy finish. Visible wear includes scattered small paint chips, light scuffs, and minor paint loss along the edges and high points of the pressed steel. The decal is well-preserved with clear lettering and minimal degradation. All six wheels are present and the articulation point is functional. No original box is included.
