Description
This marigold carnival glass covered jar is produced in the Harvest Grape pattern, attributed to the Indiana Glass Company. The item, likely intended as a canister or biscuit jar, is made of pressed glass with a metallic iridescent finish. The exterior features vertical panels decorated with embossed grape clusters and vine leaves. The matching domed lid is similarly decorated and is topped with a molded finial in the shape of a grape cluster. This pattern was a hallmark of the Indiana Glass Company’s Harvest line during the 1970s. There are no visible maker marks or signatures.
Condition report:
The jar and lid appear to be in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The iridescent marigold finish is well-preserved with no significant wear or loss.
