Description
A two-piece covered animal dish crafted from opaque white milk glass. The lid is molded in the form of a nesting hen, featuring textured feathering across the body and wings, a multi-tiered tail, and defined facial features including a comb, wattles, and eyes. The base is an oval bowl with a basketweave texture on the exterior and a beaded or pearly rim. This specific mold combination is characteristic of mid-20th-century production by the Indiana Glass Company. No manufacturer marks were found upon inspection.
Condition report:
The piece is in good vintage condition, free from chips, cracks, or visible repairs. There is some minor surface residue consistent with age and display.
