Description
This lot features two items of vintage American-made glassware. The first is an oval opal glass dish by Pyrex, featuring the Old Town Blue pattern with a navy blue floral border. The underside is embossed with the manufacturer name, origin, and the text OVEN-WARE. The second item is an amethyst art glass basket by Viking Glass Company. The vessel is characterized by a vertically ribbed body and a ruffled, crimped rim, finished with an applied twisted glass handle. The base displays a radial molded design with a central embossed mark consisting of a letter V inside an oval.
Condition report:
The collection is in good condition overall. The Pyrex dish has no chips or cracks but shows a minor spot of yellow surface discoloration on the interior. The Viking basket is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or surface wear.
