Description
A collection of assorted glass marbles contained within a clear glass jar. The jar is embossed on the side with the brand name Kerr in cursive script above the block lettering SELF SEALING MASON. The vessel is topped with a gold-tone metal screw-on lid. The interior is filled with a diverse assortment of glass marbles in various sizes, colors, and patterns. Visible styles include solid opaque colors, multicolored swirls, and cat’s eye designs. Colors represented include shades of blue, yellow, white, black, green, and red. The jar is a standard molded glass Mason jar.
Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition. The marbles show surface scuffing and wear consistent with play. The glass jar shows minor surface scratches and shelf wear. The gold-tone metal lid exhibits localized finish loss and light surface oxidation.
