Description
A collection of Oneida Twin Star pattern stainless steel flatware, a mid-century modern design originally distributed through General Mills and the Betty Crocker coupon program. The flatware is constructed from solid stainless steel and features tapered handles decorated with an embossed starburst motif at the terminals. The set includes various dinner knives, dinner forks, salad forks, and teaspoons. Included with the set is a clear acrylic serving fork characterized by a handle composed of graduated spherical beads. The items are housed in a vintage dark-stained wooden presentation chest with a hinged lid and a red felt-lined interior featuring slotted organizers. Original promotional cards are included, identifying the set as the New! EXQUISITE Twin Star PATTERN in SOLID STAINLESS by Oneida Silversmiths produced FOR USERS OF GENERAL MILLS PRODUCTS.
Condition report:
The flatware appears to be in good vintage condition with minor surface scratches and faint signs of use. The wooden chest exhibits surface wear, including scuffing, scratches, and minor finish loss along the edges and on the lid. The red felt interior shows light wear and some accumulated dust within the slots. Included promotional ephemera shows light creasing and age-related toning.
