Description
This vintage table bell is cast from a gold-toned metal, likely brass, in the form of a female figure dressed in mid-19th-century style attire. The figure features a wide-brimmed sun hat and a three-tiered crinoline gown adorned with embossed floral motifs. A small basket is depicted resting on her right arm. The exterior of the bell has a high-polish finish. The interior retains the original clapper, which is attached by a wire loop. No manufacturer’s marks are visible on the metal surface. A small white adhesive label with handwritten numbers is present on the interior rim.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. The metal shows minor surface wear and light tarnishing consistent with age and use. The internal clapper is intact and functional.
