Description
A two-piece clear pressed glass covered dish in the form of a hen on a nest, produced by the Fenton Art Glass Company. The upper lid is realistically molded into the figure of a sitting hen with textured feather detail and a split tail. The base features a matching basket-weave pattern and a scalloped rim. The underside of the base contains a raised oval mark with Fenton written in script.
Condition report:
Excellent overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Minimal surface wear present from prior use. Clarity of the glass is well-preserved.
